Very nice environment, the cake was amazing, the man who served us was really funny and friendly. The bacon was very nice as was the bread, mother reports that the toasted teacake was very good. Would recommend.
I had an exceptionally wonderful experience here. I came with a large group, including young children. The best thing was the friendliness of the staff - they were so accommodating to our needs. It was my son's birthday and the staff were so lovely to him wishing him a happy birthday and giving him a little something extra to make him feel special. The drinks were lovely and the cakes were also delicious. I will definitely be coming back again when I'm next in the area!
We found this place after navigating past the myriad of fish and chip shops in Matlock Bath, in search of a decent hot drink and a sandwich. We were overwhelmed by the quality, portions and value for money. And the staff are incredibly friendly. A must visit if you’re in this neck of the woods.
What a hidden gem! This place is a must visit. The food is exceptional! Me and a friend visit when we go on our motorbike this is our new favourite! The manager can do enough for you!
We booked onto the Wreath Making Activity hosted at The Restoration Cafe and I have to say, this was the best one I have been to! They were great hosts, very generous and we had so much fun. Will definitely be back next year and recommend to everyone!!
Lovely little cafe. We stopped in for lunch and although a little slow on serving us, the food was worth the wait. The oatcakes & toasties are fab! The staff were super nice and chatty plus it’s dog friendly Not many places open for lunch on a Monday in November in Matlock Bath so this was a great find!
Got a few takeaway sausage sandwiches and raspberry ruffle cakes from here. Lovely cafe, dogs are welcome, lovely outdoor seating area and of course the food and cake were delicious. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come again.
We came to Matlock today and were excited to go back to this cafe for breakfast. We had great coffee, cake, and bacon sandwiches and sausages provided for our 2 dogs. The staff were so friendly and it was altogether a lovely start to the day. Thank you!!!
